I have been designing and servicing industrial control systems for over 20 years. I have designed and worked on systems for amusement rides/carnival rides, coin-op games, medical lasers, factory machinery, railroad equipment, and other applications.
While I now spend most of my time doing emergency service work on amusement rides in the U.S., I have installed and repaired equipment in much of Europe, Korea, Japan, and Central America.   Most of my repair work involves AC and DC motor controllers in systems using PLCs or proprietary embedded controllers.
I really enjoy designing control systems for existing equipment and I can even return your system back to the way it was before others "fixed" it.
I am familiar with PLCs from AEG, Allen Bradley, Idec, Modicon (Telemecanique), Pilz, Siemens, and others.
AC and DC drives I have worked on (including some board-level repairs) include Klockner & Moeller, BMB, Ansaldo, SIEI, Control Techniques, Rowan, Hitachi, GE, Mentor, Sincro-Flo, and others.
